Biography

On 5 February 2015, Amadou Bamba Koné took Linguère function. Angel Faye, governor of the region, officially installed during a ceremony that served as a pretext to recall the importance of the missions assigned to the prefect. The local executive promised therefore to monitor the dynamics of its predecessor. "The new administration still weaves new reports. This is not to authoritarianism, it is no giving orders. We just have to support the people, to listen and I will spare no effort to achieve the objectives with the support of the people, "he said as vis-à-vis promise of extended tasks down in the departement. Before being assigned to the department Linguere, Koné Amadou Bamba was the prefect of the department of Tambacounda. Region from which he had acquired in the territorial command since there having collected eight years of experience. Amadou Bamba Koné left, indeed, August 14, 2008 the Department of General Affairs and Territorial Administration to join the Governorate of the Tambacounda region. He was appointed deputy governor for administrative affairs. On 24 February 2011, Kone Amadou Bamba became the prefect of that department. On the deputy governor, he was promoted to prefect in the same locality. On 7 January 2015, he was transferred to central Senegal, Linguere precisely in the department.
