Biography
Born in Kaolack, Amadou Lamine Dieng is a financial Magistrate and Senegalese politician. It is worn on the head of the National Agency for the Promotion of Youth Employment (Anpej) in January 2014. Also former Director General of the National Office for Sanitation of Senegal (Onas), it was previously at the Court of Auditors. In politics, Amadou Lamine Dieng was first a close associate of the former President of the Republic Abdoulaye Wade whose reign allowed him to occupy various positions of responsibility before he rallied the camp shortly before Macky Sall his inauguration in 2012. In 2014, at the Local, Amadou Lamine Dieng was elected mayor in the town Wack-Ngouna in the department of Nioro Rip (Kaolack region) based on the list of his party, the Alliance for the Republic (Apr ). This position earned him a fierce contestation of the Union of Magistrates of Senegal (Ums), a body of which he is a member, who asked him to choose between his judicial status and mayor cap because of the Organic Law No. 99- 73 of 17 February 1999 on the status of judges of the Court of Auditors who reports that "financial magistrate functions are incompatible with any other public or private activity or elected office." In September 2015, Amadou Lamine Dieng was elected by his peers to head the secretariat of the African Association of Public Employment Services (Aasep). This structure brings together public bodies in charge of employment policy, across the continent.
