 Community Sangalkam is in the Niayes area . Community Sangalkam is located in the district of the same name located in the department of Rufisque , Dakar. It is limited geographically : in the east by the municipalities of Sébikotane and Pout in Thies , west by the town of Keur Massar , the north by the Atlantic Ocean and the Rural Community of Diander , and South by the Commons Bargny , Rufisque and Diamnadio

Local Community became in 1985 the Community territory Sangalkam now has 33 villages spread over an area of ??195 Km2 .
