The Commune of Dakar Plateau is bounded to the north by the Avenue Malick Sy, the coast of Anse des Madeleines Cyrnos passing then to the mouth of the discharge channel of sewage into the harbor, to the south by Pointe du Cap Manuel to the east by the bay of Dakar and Anse Bernard and west by the handle of madeleines . It has about a population of 36 901habitants .
