Biography
Thierno Seydou Sy is Nourou banker and specialist financial system. He participated in many adventures including the establishment and support of banking subsidiaries in Senegal and in the sub-region. He arrived at the head of the National Bank for Economic Development (BNDE) in June 2012. Trainee Housing Bank of Senegal (BHS) in 1986, Thierno Seydou Sy Nourou left the Paris Stock Exchange to try their luck in his country. Alongside Abdoul Mbaye, another banker deemed Thierno Seydou Sy Nourou came to the finance world then assault crisis in Senegal. In 1987, he was recruited to the former BIAO (current CBAO) and files its backpacks in the direction of the Accounting as deputy. A year later, he was appointed director. He then is in charge of management control and participates in recovery of the institution under the supervision of his mentor, Abdoul Mbaye, called for rescue. In 1997, his fate is still tied to the adventure of the Senegalese-Tunisian Bank (BST) about to escape the control of Tunisians to pass into the hands of the State of Senegal, main co-shareholder with total assets of 6 5 billion CFA francs. In 2006, during a new assignment BST Thierno Seydou Sy Nourou outside the box. That same year, Sy is still at the heart of the process of the sale of CBAO Moroccans who still rely on his expertise. Then he left the Moroccan group for a new challenge at Coris Bank International, based in Burkina Faso. Internationally, the general manager of the BNDE was also Deputy Director General of the International Bank for Mali (BIM). Back in Senegal, he received, in August 2013, the banking license for the BNDE, established to replace the Economic Promotion Fund (EPF).
