Biography
Moustapha Niasse is a professional civil servant and graduate of the National School of Administration of Senegal. Born November 4, 1939 in Keur Madiabel, he attended the Faidherbe high school in St. Louis and the University of Dakar and then continued his studies in Paris. Today, its fields of activity are expanded. From politics to the financial and business consulting through crude oil or maritime activities. In the senior civil service, Moustapha Niasse has occupied for 10 years the chief of staff position of President Léopold Sedar Senghor, then from 1978 to 1984, Minister of Foreign Affairs. He was again responsible for the diplomatic policy of Senegal from 1993 to 1998. Moustapha Niasse was also Prime Minister of 3 to 29 April 1983. figurehead, he campaigned against Abdou Diouf under the banner of the hand which he is founder and Secretary General, the Alliance for the Forces of progress (AFP). In this context, he was appointed the first head of government of the policy mix of the winner of the presidential election, Abdoulaye Wade. Moustapha Niasse has fizzled, after eleven months of service as Prime Minister, he was dismissed in favor of Mame Boye Madior. The current President of the National Assembly has been a breakthrough internationally as particularly representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in the Great Lakes. As a businessman, Mr. Niasse has participated in the creation of several companies including International Trading Oil and Commodities.
