younger brother of Prime Minister of Senegal Boun Mohammed Abdallah Dionne, Cheikh Diop Dione shook the Senegal National Assembly in presenting his candidacy for president against Moustapha Niasse at the last renewal of the office of parliament. This nomination against Niasse called a visionary , for some, was for Cheikh Diop Dione that of rupture within the Chamber . The desire to establish the break in the National Assembly did not prosper. Cheikh Diop Dionne got only 17 votes .
