Biography
Penda Seck Dieng, is a Senegalese politician, member of the coalition Benno Siggil Senegaal. She was elected to the National Assembly for the first time in 2014. She is the Chair of the Planning Committee, housing, equipment and transport. Far from being a political novice, Penda Seck Dieng was first debuted within the Democratic League / Movement for the Labour Party (Ld / mpt) Professor Abdoulaye Bathily. She will campaign in hiding until the official recognition of the party in 1981. A teacher by profession, Penda Seck Dieng is a founding member of SUDES (single and democratic union of teachers of Senegal), who later became Uden (Democratic Teachers Union of Senegal). Apart from its parliamentary activities, the member of Kaolack, assumes the role of Special Advisor to the President of the Aïdara Cherif Foundation (CAF), a structure which is fighting for the eradication of poverty in Africa.
