  • Accomplishments:

    USAID has accomplished many projects in Sénégal, among them we can  mention: The Funding agreements between the Government of Senegal and USAID(2010-2015):

    With a total value of US $ 463 million have allocated $ 179 million to health, $ 168 million in economic growth, $ 90 million for education and 26 million dollars to good governance. Also thru "Feed the Future" of the US government, USAID supported the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD) through various activities, including the new mission of community service required by the recent framework law on the functioning of universities public Senegal. And in  2014, USAID / ERA facilitated the signing of a memorandum of understanding between UCAD and POPAS. The two structures together defined the objectives of the training and UCAD has developed the program and training modules. In January 2015, ERA has granted UCAD a grant of up to 110,000 US dollars or nearly 55,108,000 FCFA to finance training

     USAID is the lead U.S. Government agency that works to end extreme global poverty and enable resilient, democratic societies to realize their potential.
