Biography
Thierno Alassane Sall, 52, is a technocrat and Senegalese politician. At the head of the ministry of energy and renewable energy, it is responsible for preparing and implementing the policy defined by the Head of State in the production and distribution of energy, promotion of energy renewable. A department that has returned after being sacked as minister of infrastructure, land transport and opening up, following his defeat against Idrissa Seck in Thies, during the local elections of 2014. Before being promoted to this post, Thierno Alassane Sall had occupied the chair of Director General of the telecommunications regulatory Authority and post (ARTP). Engineer in telecommunications and civil aviation of the National School of Engineers of Sfax (Tunisia), Thierno Alassane Sall has an experience of 22 years in the Safety of Air Navigation Agency for Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA). He held several positions including auditor of civil aviation on behalf of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Thierno. Politically, he is a member of the Alliance Steering Committee for the Republic and current National Coordinator of the Convergence frameworks that party.
