Biography

From the ranks of the Alliance of Progressive Forces (AFP) Moustapha Niasse, Aliou Sarr ensures Trade Minister function, industry and informal sectors. Before landing the government, he was first Director General of the Senegalese Agency for Export Promotion (Asepex). In this role, he initiated important projects and conducted missions for positioning products and services "Made in Senegal" on regional and international markets. Aliou Sarr is also in Computer Engineering Management, an MBA in Business Administration and a series Bac C. His skills also included that of expert consultant in the design, organization of information systems and the implementation of integrated solutions for business management. Or that of election expert. In this sense, he participated in the audit of the electoral register Senegal (2003, 2007, 2009 and 2012) and coordinated the electoral experts of the political coalition Bennoo Siggil Senegaal during the presidential March 2012. Elected mayor of the municipality of Notto Diobass (Thies) in 2014, it has since December 2006, the National Coordinator of cadres of his party, the AFP. The trade minister is also a member of the Board of the Higher Institute of Vocational Education (Isep) Thies. Aliou Sarr also holds the CEO chair of the Engineering Society and Council Computer Telecoms.
